Katherine completed her medical training at University College Dublin in 2004. Katherine initially pursued a career in surgery, completing her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, before continuing to train in the area of plastics and reconstructive surgery. In 2013 she changed specialties to general practice and completed the North East GP training scheme and her Membership of the Irish College of General practitioners, as well as a diploma in women’s health. Katherine is an avid scuba diver and has a keen interest in travel, theatre, and the arts.
